Media Center Home
The Wacoochee Elementary Media Center is a resource center for teachers, students, and parents. It is an integral part of the school environment and aims to support and supplement the school's curriculum. It provides organized materials to aid in the learning process by helping students appreciate reading, develop research skills, access, evaluate, and comprehend, therefore grow intellectually. It also provides a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere for the teaching and use of library skills, for study and research, as well as for recreational reading. The Media Center is a learning zone in our school.
My name is Aaron Harris, and I am proud to serve as the library media specialist at Wacoochee Elementary School. My passion for working with students of all ages is what led me to my career choice.
I graduated with a B.S. degree in elementary education from Auburn University. Later, I attained a master’s degree from The University of West Alabama in Library Media. Before serving as a library media specialist for grades K-5th, I was a second grade teacher.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, iced coffee, and anything Auburn Athletics related!
If you have questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me:
